About
A practice built for the one house that matters.
Established in 2016 on the north-western edge of the Cotswolds, we design, manage and build substantial residential projects for people who would like the whole thing handled, properly.
Builders by trade. Managers by temperament.
The Builders Cotswolds began with a simple observation: the hardest part of a large residential build is not laying stone or fitting a roof. It is coordinating forty trades, a planning authority, a conservation officer, an ecologist, a structural engineer and a family who would like their house back by Christmas.
So we built a company around that coordination. Our own site managers and quantity surveyors run every project. Our specialist trades in stone, lime, oak and roofing have worked with us for years. And every client sees the whole picture, every day, in their portal.
We work across the Cotswolds National Landscape and its market towns, from Chipping Campden and Broadway in the north to Tetbury and Cirencester in the south, from our base in Evesham.

Six things we won't compromise on.
- 01
Give it everything
Every house we take on has the whole team's attention, from the first drawing to the last snag. It is the only way we know to do it properly.
- 02
Price in the open
Net cost, overheads and profit as separate lines. Client-supplied items shown with indicative values. No allowances hidden in day rates.
- 03
Own the whole thing
One contract and one point of contact. If something goes wrong on site, it is ours to fix, not a sub-contractor's to argue about.
- 04
Respect the building
Lime where lime belongs. Stone from the right quarry. A sample panel before a wall. The Cotswolds deserves nothing less.
- 05
Show, don't tell
Daily photographs and a live budget in the portal. Trust is easier when you can see everything.
- 06
Stay reachable
Twelve months of defects cover and the same people on the telephone long after the last invoice.
The people who will answer the telephone.

Tell us what you are creating and where. A director will reply personally within one working day. If we are not the right practice for the project, we will say so, and say who might be.
